Submitted by Ms. Allana!Doodleday by Ross Collins. This is a very amusing and entertaining story about a little boy name Harvey, who doesn’t realize what happens when you draw on “Doodleday!” At first it seems as though his Mom is being mean by telling him he can’t draw pictures. When she leaves the house Harvey thinks “One small drawing couldn’t hurt a fly.” So then he thinks it will be fine to just draw a fly. What was that noise in the kitchen? Written and illustrated by Ross Collins, with full page cartoon like pictures, this tale of mayhem and disaster from crayon drawings is charming and sure to delight young children of pre-school and early elementary age.
