A Song for My Sister by Lesley Simpson and illustrated by Tatjana Mai-Wyss. A big sister makes a wish in the wishing well and four years later her wish comes true. Mira wanted a baby sister and finally she has arrived. The problem is she only says one thing: “Waaaaa! Waaaaa!” What’s her name? “We’ll announce it on her eighth day” says dad.
