Bear’s Big Bottom by Steve Smallman and Emma Yarlett. Bear was friendly. Bear was sweet. He was the nicest bear you’d ever meet! He had little paws, and little feet, and a very big bottom, which gets him into trouble. One day, at squirrel’s birthday bash, Bear’s bottom smashed the presents, emptied the pool, and squashed the birthday cake. Bear felt so sad inside, he ran away and tried to hide his big bear bottom. His friends searched everywhere for Bear, until they ran into a fox who tried to bite their bottoms! Bear’s bottom was stuck in the tree which he pulled and carried with him to save his friends. Fox, seeing a terrifying shadow coming over the hill, ran away. The animals all cheered for bear’s big bottom and they went back to continue the party. See this book listed in our catalog
