As an airplane soars among clouds, a little boy watches from a grassy field far below. He imagines flying that plane past cars, boats, and trains while they watch him far above them. In his mind he flies the plane up above the city, up through the clouds, and eventually reaches the moon. He has fun hopping around on the moon, but he can’t spend too much time there because he has to rush to get home in time for bed! In Moon Plane, written and illustrated Peter McCarty, the story is told through simple imagery that leaves much to the imagination. It feels like a fuzzy dream which makes for a very special reading experience to share with your child. See this book listed in our catalog
